The History of The Guild : hEaVeNsLaYeR (Chapter 2 of 4)

One day, when I logged in, the guild list left with around 13 to 14 members. What happened? Haze left. She left not like the way Rasengan, alone. She left with her friends whom she brought in and also left with couple of our other guild members. *By now, probably some of you may think she is a Bitch, but read on to know what damaged had she done*. She accused me of not trusting her and said I drove her out of the guild. She constantly pester other members like NetLucky & kazuto to join her but glad that they had chosen our guild over Haze’s new guild. kazuto remains in our guild for another 1 month and soon he becomes very inactive. Finally after about 2 months later, he told me he is quitting maple because he has no time for it and asked me to expel him. Did he joined haze's guild or did he really quit? I heard from someone he did maple once in a while but he is not in haze's guild. That is all I heard about him.

It really hurts me by what haze did. How can people you trust and think you can make friends with betray and malice you this way. I am really very dishearted. For a while, I did not speak to people in the guild. e0nDragon and NetLucky knew best because they were there and they witnessed it. The only thing that e0n and Net did not know is what is on my mind at that time. I am deciding on whether should I disband the guild or should I reform it. Really feel so tired and weakened to take yet another step as each step taken shows no return and it stumble upon you.

It was like 2 to 3 weeks (or maybe longer), members talk to me, I ignored. Thanks to NetLucky & e0nDragon, especially e0n, for not giving up on me and hence, I did not give up on the guild. e0nDragon, you told me you will never leave this guild at that time, is it still true? J Sorry, I cannot tell in this Guild History when were e0n & Net promoted to Jr. Master as I really cannot remember. Probably is after I decided to reform the guild and I reckon I need a few Jr. Master to assist the guild and to recruit members. Yes, I think it was around that time.

The guild was reformed and more new members were recruited. Next line of new members is people like xiceywizardx, SinXforgiver, Cut3xsinz, Cuteadel, Hyssapac and some others who had already left us. But this group of new members has got a problem. They like to engage in KS war. Not referring to xiceywizardx, SinXforgiver, Cut3sinz, Cuteadel &Hyssapac. Those trouble makers already left and formed their own KS guild. Can you imagine this member name GuaiXiaoHai was engaged in 3 KS wars during his short stay in our guild and another member ILLUSION never fails to join him when Guai asked for supporting power in his KS war.
Good that they have left us. But also thank to them, because they gave us the idea of creating a guild blog.

The first attempt to create a guild blog was a failure. Because I entrusted it upon irresponsible people like ILLUSION. The 2nd attempt is what you see now and I am very happy with the efforts which Michiyostar, e0nDragon & aramist7 put in together with me.

The guild take up rate remains at around 15 to 17 members for couple of weeks till one day, I went back to Victoria (was in orbis for like months and never step foot in Victoria. When I return to Victoria, it really have the feeling like in the olden days martial art movies, you went to Shaolin Monastery for years and when you leave the monastery, you are already a martial art expert. Haha… I was level 100+. Hopes this can inspire some of you to train harder.) for some quests, probably somewhere in August 2006? This is when I recruited Neffulxmage, Yangguo, Xiaolongnu, DemonMagic, cspan666 (just left us).

SianLaLa, Sa1ha and Michiyostar were recruited also around the same time by the Jr. Masters and they later bring in their friends like BayangHitam, Wonderbouy and invited other members like finnie21, Dothead, mrsummoner3, HaoXcleric, SadAyu, Jo520. More friends and members meaning? Guild expansion again. This time round we are going for 25 strong. I collected some fees from members for this time round of expansion (200,000 for normal members and 500,000 for Jr. Master) because I believe I have done enough for the guild in term of monetary wise. Cost for forming the guild, first two expansions & guild emblem.

Is 200k a lot? For lower level members, probably, but sometimes I do give away items like earrings and gloves to members, so all in all, do you lose out a lot? I doubt so. Of course, you do not expect me to give you expansive items like kage, blue screamer, etc because I also want it and who can give me? J

The last member RyuHeroin (however Ryu had been expelled because upon reading the History of the Guild, she decided that she will join us with her main character, xrodgeyx, =D ) was recruited on 21st January at Shanghai.

Hope I did not left out anyone.

The History of The Guild : hEaVeNsLaYeR (Chapter 1 of 4)

For the benefits of new members, I think this write up is worth my time if it gives them the sense of belonging, though they joined us midway, they know what happened in the past.

Our guild was formed somewhere in February or March 2006. And how was it formed? I was at the Free Market and a level 30+ guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to form a Guild with him. That time, the Guild thingy is new and everyone wants a guild. This poor chap, when I said poor, he is really poor. He really has no money to form a guild. So he asked me to pay for it and all he asked for is to be a Jr. Master. He went round with me to recruit another 4 people to form a party of 6 and this guild was formed. At that time, I am a level 60+ Magician.

The name, was suggested by him and I adopted. The guild can only take 10 members when it was first formed. We (infact, I would say the Jr. Master, our 1st Jr. Master) recruited more members. Later, I received complaints from members that this 1st Jr. Master, was very bossy (by then we already have a 2nd Jr. Master, but he left us after just a few days). He goes around calling members to meet him at Perion, Sleepywood, here and there. He even asked for weapons and meso from other members. Members training were affected. Under the influences of the members, I decided to strip off his power as a Jr. Master so that he will not be so bossy and other members can have a peace of mind. But too bad, once I did that, he left.

The 3rd Jr. Masters was born and was named xRasenganx (level 60+). For awhile things were good. Rasengan and me trained very hard and even trained together. Rasengan introduced a friend to join our guild. Guess who? Hint: Its one of our present Jr. Master - e0nDragon. Haha . . . The guild was small, but as far as I know, most people are happy.

Another guy by the name kazuto, was also recruited at that time. This guy should be mentioned because he is quite a loyal guildmate but somehow, fate does not keep him with us. I will mention a bit more about him below . . .

Things took a downturn when Rasengan is reaching level 70. He is no longer satisfied to be just a Jr. Master. He keeps telling the guild members he wants to form his own guild when he reaches 3rd job. But I guess from level 68 to 70, much efforts need to be put in and he cannot wait that long. He just cannot wait and he left. Left without saying goodbye to me . . .

I was sad, but his depart was expected. It is just that it came much earlier that is all. So I went on to recruit new members. NetLucky (present Jr. Master) was recruited and Net in turn recruited aramist7 (present Jr. Master) and some others who have left us by now. I went on to expand the guild slots from 10 to 15. People come and people goes. Till I met Haze (Haze & kazuto were the next batch of Jr. Master). Haze has asked her friends to join our guild and so I have got to expand the guild slots further to 20. Day and night we cheong on leveling (me attaining level 90+). Everything looks fine to me, and the guild has grown so much more powerful and stronger. Haze & kazuto were so close that they resemble the little couple in our guild. They trained together, buy couple items, come to sotong map to find me together. They give people the feelin that they will soon be the first married couple in the guild. But . . . the marriage did not happen. Rather something unexpected occurred . . .

Its been very very long since I expel any members due to inactiveness. The last person i expel was "Pinkosan".

I notice many members are not quite active. These are the people I observed.

1) CutxSinz - very inactive (Never see for more than 3 months)
2) Sinxforgiver, xIceywizardx, NetLuck, HaoXcleric - inactive (never see for at least 1 month)
3) Hysspac, SadAyu, Wonderbouy, Sa1ha, Sianlala - begining to be inactive

Begining to be inactive because of work or because of school re-opens understandable.
But how about the rest? Some created a 2nd account and neglected this account.

So what should I do as a Guild Master? Let poll. Even Maplesea site has polling.

1) expel inactive members?
2) let them stay on and do nothing?
3) ask them to pay meso for taking up a space but remain inactive?
4) ask an inactive member to form a sub "heavenslayer" guild and all inactive members transfer to that sub guild?

Hmm.....

Is that person who login really ICEY?
How could he has forgotten he still own me 500k since that time the guild undergoes an expansion?

His "got meh" makes me in doubt whether is he really our icey or has his account been hacked since he did not login like for months.

To play safe, I demoted him just in case he is not our icey and started expeling all my guild members.... Till proven that my worry is unfound.
